What’s the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding director?

A wedding planner is involved from the very beginning, helping you choose vendors, design the look and feel of your day, and manage the full planning process. A wedding director (sometimes called a coordinator) steps in closer to the wedding—typically around a month out—to tie everything together, finalize the details, and run the day itself. I specialize in the “final stretch” and day-of execution, so you can enjoy what you’ve planned.

How far in advance should I book a wedding director?

The earlier the better, especially for popular dates! I typically book weddings 3–12 months in advance, but if your date is open, I can sometimes take on shorter-notice events.

Do you help with design or vendor selection?

Since I step in a little later, I don’t offer full-service design or vendor sourcing—but I’m happy to review what you’ve chosen and make sure it all fits together smoothly. If you need last-minute vendor help, I can assist with my list of vendors.

How do I book your services?

You can fill out my contact form or email me directly to check availability. From there, I’ll set up a quick call to talk through your plans and make sure we’re a good fit. A signed agreement and deposit officially lock in your date!

Question 5

How much is the deposit? When is the balance due?

I require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding. Payment plans are available upon request, just ask! I accept payment via Venmo, cash or card (through invoice). If you need another method, let’s talk!

Do you attend the rehearsal?

Yes! Rehearsal coordination is included in the Month-Out + Day-Of package. If you're only booking Day-Of services, it can be added for a small fee.

Will you bring an assistant?

For most weddings, I manage the day solo, but if your event has a large guest count, multiple locations, or extra setup needs, I may recommend bringing a trusted assistant (we'll talk that through in advance).

Do you travel?

I’m based in Atlanta, Georgia but I’m open to traveling for the right fit! Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
